Chelsea FC The Shed Wall

Projects Group were commissioned to create a fan centric exhibition at the legendary blues and the Shed End, originally known as the Fulham Road End. The brief was simple, to inspire and inform the fans (both home and away) and create a lasting space that would look amazing from the moment of installation and would last long into the future.

It had to be scaleable too, with room to add more panels as the Chelsea legend grows. A gloriously English weatherproof display was created against the world-famous “Shed Wall”, creating a custom grid of legendary player biographies, vintage never before seen footage and insightful nuggets for “The pensioners” – their devoted legion of fans.

Down to the detail; they showcased a wide mix of different production processes. From laser etching and filling to full colour screen print on textured surfaces. All the things that would make most signage companies turn and run. Projects Group embraced the challenge to create a stunning tribute.

The result is a highly professional legacy to the greats of the game. A lasting display that will grow as the club’s own story grows. A space kept alive in the hearts and minds of all CFC fans.

Village Hotel Bristol

The Projects Group have been working closely with the owners of Village Leisure Hotels for several years. They understand the complex model of a hospitality brand that features a gym, dining outlets and rooms. Navigating a Village Hotel space can be daunting without the correct signage.

Village needed a distinctive exterior sign, something to act as a beacon to be seen by approaching vehicles, a sign of respite for the weary traveller. The large structure illuminated V sign was created in line with the brand’s strict and distinctive guidelines in mind. They worked closely with the Village marketeers to ensure the essence of all they are comes through in everything they produce. They have known what makes a Village Hotel tick for many years.

The scheme was extensive, from internal leisure club signage featuring inspirational statements on the walls to huge vinyls on the side of the building. They made the building a canvas for such an outgoing brand. You were in no doubt what was in store the moment you walked through the slick reception of a Village Hotel.

When it came to the internal navigation of the space, brand integrity and clear common-sense reign true. From simple door numbers to often copious lists of locations were expertly crafted to bring the very brand essence alive in even the simplest of signs. The result is a coherent signage scheme oozing a distinctive brand’s values.

The Belfry Resort

The one and only Belfry, the venue of that momentous Ryder Cup victory in 2002 and indeed the site of three Ryder Cup tournaments in totality. Who could possibly forget the historic approach by the late great Seve Ballesteros on the tenth of the Brabazon Course.

After its refurbishment in 2012, the owners of The Belfry approached Projects Group regarding a total refresh of its signage branding. No mean feat, however, one they were more than up to the task. This immersive brand project involved beautifully sculpted external signage integrated into the eaves of the building itself, dining venue signage and navigational guidance.

From slate slabbed navigational signage, etched and infilled to multi-layered, mixed media they created a system that would not only be in keeping with the resort’s legendary status, but also enhance the guest journey for years to come. Elegant and refined, we know that immaculate service and signature experiences make the Belfry tick.
